This has been a trying time, and in many ways feels like a drought where people and what I would have called normal community are concerned. Tonight as we worked together on our puzzle. I was reminded that sometimes it’s not easy to put all the pieces together, and sometimes you have to move them around several times. However, in the end you usually have a beautiful piece of art. So, don’t give up trying.

Tonight as I sat in church watching amazing music by five pianist. I kept admiring the images on the screen. As I watched I was amazed at how the different movements and reflections of light drastically changed the image I saw. It’s one of the amazing things about art. However, on our way home I thought how this applies to our lives. We have the ability to let the lights around us change how we see things, but we also have the ability to let God’s light shine through us!
